Holiday Gifts for Self Care Enthusiasts (Under $25)

Gift shopping for family and friends is one of my favorite parts of the holiday season. I do most of my holiday shopping with my little sister, and the afternoon is always full of Starbucks peppermint mochas, plenty of holiday music, and so much laughter. I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything, but if I’m being completely honest, it can lead to some pretty ridiculous impulse buys (Harry Potter trivia, anyone?).

To help you give amazing gifts without completely depleting your savings, I’ve created a list of my favorite stress-reducing holiday gifts for self care enthusiasts that are all UNDER $25.

  •   Skincare

  • General Coziness

    • Fangirl (by Rainbow Rowell)
      • I love romance novels (the cheesier the better), and this book is the perfect balance of feel-good vibes and relatable awkward moments.
    • Relaxing Coloring Book
      • I love this mini Calm Coloring Book because I can easily bring with me when I travel and it’s a great distraction when I’m anxious about something.
  • Organization

    • Colorful erasable pens
      • I don’t use this exact brand, but having a colorful set of erasable pens has made a huge impact on my experience studying and taking notes in classes.
    • A cheerful planner
      • I might be weird for loving planners so much, but if someone got me this (hi mom!) I would truly be delighted.
  • DIY Gifts

    • I love making gifts for family and friends, but it turns out that I am in fact too old to thread some beads on a string and expect my mom to wear it as a necklace.
      • This soup mix in a jar would be the perfect gift for a busy parent, your friend who is spending all her savings on takeout, or your sibling who is living alone for the first time but barely knows how to boil water.
      • I’ve become interested in natural skincare recently, and while I think it’s totally worth splurging on some great natural products occasionally, I also love the idea of making beauty products with ingredients you already have in your kitchen.
      • A few years ago, I gave my dad a rice pack for Christmas, and it is probably one of the best gifts I’ve ever given. It’s great for alleviating soreness, so if you’ve got any fitness gurus on your gift list, this could be the perfect present.
